

PADI RESCUE DIVER COURSE
The Rescue Diver Course is designed to develop the necessary knowledge and skills for individuals to effectively perform a rescue/ assist, to manage diving accidents, render proper first aid, and to qualify for the PADI Divemaster program or Master Scuba Diver Program. This course will expand your knowledge and experience level; teaching divers to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well-being of other divers. Although the subject matter of this course is serious, it is a fun and rewarding course, and a great way to build your confidence and progress your diving career. This course also allows student divers to qualify for the PADI Divemaster training program.

COST
$370 for the full course. This includes PADI e-learning links, pool, and checkout dives. Tanks and weights are provided for the pool session.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be 12 years or older
Must be Basic Open Water Certified
Must be Advanced Open Water Certified
Must have current (within two years) CPR and First Aid Certification, with hands on training.
Must fill out a medical and liability release. Some answers on the liability release will require a release from a physician prior to in-water activities.
LOCATION
Classroom work is fully remote!
Pool sessions are held at the Scappoose Swim Centers.
Open Water Dives are typically held along the Hood Canal.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
Students must provide/rent equipment for pool session.
BCD, regulator and fins are available to rent for $10 each
3mm wetsuits (optional, but recommended) available for rental for $30.
Students must rent/provide all equipment for open water checkout dives.
Students must have their own CPR mask w/ O2 barb for pool and open water dives. Available at Under Water Works.
Students are responsible for all open water checkout costs, including but not limited to: gas, food, accommodation and tank fills.
