This year, we're doing a little bit more with our annual Clear Lake Altitude Dive! Under Water Works is partnering with Central Oregon Diving, our shop friends from Bend OR, and PADI, to host a Clear Lake Day! You'll be able to dive into the PADI Altitude Specialty Course, PADI Project Aware Specialty and PADI Dive Against Debris Specialty courses! This is a rare opportunity to earn up to 3 PADI Specialty courses in one day, and participate in cleaning up one of our favorite Oregon lakes!

We're also hosting a fundraiser for PADI AWARE. Since 1992, Project AWARE has helped secure protection for 104 species of shark and ray, funded over 200 grantees across the Blueprint for Ocean Action, and removed more than 2.5 million pieces of debris from the ocean floor.

PADI Altitude Specialty Course

Clear Lake on the Santium Pass is at an elevation of just over 3,000', which requires special diving procedures. We'll introduce Altitude diving during a virtual classroom session, and then do 2 dives in Clear Lake, exploring the petrified trees and crystal clear water while applying special rules for diving at altitude.

PADI AWARE Specialty

For divers and non-divers!  The PADI AWARE Specialty course equips you with action and opportunities to bring about positive ocean change. Starting with our local water ways- learn how to protect our oceans! Bring your non-diving friends for a Cleanup day at the Lake! They'll work and support topside, while you clean underwater!

PADI Dive Against Debris Specialty

Learn how to make a difference on every dive! In this specialty course, you will learn what trash to remove, how to remove it safely, and how to document your cleanup efforts in a global database that documents our planet's marine debris problem.
