Q: Where are you located?
A: Under Water Works is on Main Street in Tigard, between the US Bank and the Post Office.

Q: What is Under Water Works certifying agency?
A: Under Water Works is a 5 Star PADI Dive Center.  We exclusively certify through the PADI organization.

Q: How often do you offer classes?
A: We offer Basic Open Water every six weeks, with a break between Christmas and New Years.  Classes are offered year round.  If you are interested in continuing education, please look here for information about specific classes and schedules.

Q: How do I sign up for classes?
A: To register for a class, please call us at 503.620.6993.  The only way to reserve a space in a class is to put a deposit down.

Q: What is involved in learning to Scuba Dive?
A: Our classes are a five week program, with both a classroom portion, as well as a pool session.  They culminate in an Open Water Weekend, where you finish your certification.

Q: Is there a way I can "test out" Scuba diving before I sign up for a class?
A: Yes!  We offer Discover Scuba Diving classes, which are a one night program.  The cost is $50, and covers the first section of the Basic Open Water program.  Discover Scuba Dives are on an individual basis; please contact the shop to schedule one.
